Uthman Ibn Affan (RA), the third Caliph of Islam, served as a leader for twelve years—the longest among the Rightly Guided Caliphs. As one of the wealthiest individuals among the Quraish, Uthman devoted much of his wealth to supporting the less fortunate, particularly orphans and widows, and advancing the cause of Islam. Despite his wealth and power, he remained humble, lived a simple life, and was steadfast in his beliefs and principles.
Uthman’s exceptional piety and unwavering dedication earned him the rare honor of receiving the glad tidings of Paradise from Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on three separate occasions. His life serves as an enduring example of humility, generosity, and faithfulness to the principles of Islam.
